Il utilise de l&#039;huile min\u00e9rale froide pour absorber le solvant des gaz d&#039;\u00e9chappement avant de les rejeter dans l&#039;atmosph\u00e8re. Pour les climats chauds, des syst\u00e8mes de refroidissement peuvent \u00eatre fournis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les gaz non condensables p\u00e9n\u00e8trent dans l&#039;absorbeur d&#039;huile min\u00e9rale par le bas et montent \u00e0 travers le garnissage de la tour et s&#039;\u00e9coulent \u00e0 contre-courant vers l&#039;huile min\u00e9rale froide admise par le haut. Le solvant est absorb\u00e9 par l&#039;huile min\u00e9rale et les gaz d\u00e9solvant\u00e9s sont extraits par un d\u00e9v\u00e9siculeur au sommet. L&#039;air est aspir\u00e9 par un ventilateur et \u00e9vacu\u00e9 par un pare-flammes bien en dessous des limites d&#039;explosivit\u00e9 inf\u00e9rieures. L&#039;huile min\u00e9rale charg\u00e9e de solvant recueillie au bas de la colonne d&#039;absorption est pomp\u00e9e \u00e0 travers un \u00e9changeur de chaleur, puis vers le r\u00e9chauffeur d&#039;huile min\u00e9rale et enfin vers le haut du d\u00e9capeur d&#039;huile min\u00e9rale.
