Webinar: Why Extruders need a Torque Limiting Coupling
In the webinar, CPM Extrusion Systems Director Karl-Heinz Tietz will discuss the advantages a torque limiting coupling provides. We will look into different scenarios to explain why these couplings are necessary and how the control system of the machine is not enough to protect the machine. We will discuss different types of torque limiting couplings and how they work, advantages and disadvantages of the different types, as well as preventative maintenance for the coupling.
