Our extensive expertise in oils and fats processing gives us an advantage by allowing us to easily extend our processing technology to biodiesel production.

Our biodiesel production process begins with thorough pretreatment of the feedstock, which can include vegetable oils, animal fats or recycled greases. The pretreatment stage is critical for removing impurities that can hinder the biodiesel conversion process. Once pretreated, the feedstock undergoes transesterification, where it is converted into biodiesel and glycerin. Our advanced equipment ensures a continuous, efficient process, resulting in high-quality biodiesel that meets stringent industry standards.
Our pretreatment process prepares feedstocks by removing impurities, reducing phosphatides and fatty acids, and ensuring the feedstock is suitable for efficient biodiesel conversion. This step is essential for maximizing yield and quality.
The Crown biodiesel process uses a multistep transesterification reaction followed by neutralizing and washing steps. The multistep transesterification reaction converts nearly 100% of the triglycerides in the oil or fat to biodiesel (methyl ester). The methyl ester is then stripped to remove the water and methanol.
Our distillation process improves biodiesel quality by removing any remaining contaminants and enhancing cold flow properties. This step ensures that the final product meets or exceeds industry standards for biodiesel.
