Our oleochemical production process starts with thorough pretreatment of the feedstock, which can include fats and oils from vegetable and animal sources. This critical stage removes impurities that can hinder the oleochemical conversion process. Once pretreated, the feedstock undergoes processes like fat splitting and glycerin refining to produce a wide range of oleochemicals. Our advanced equipment ensures a continuous, efficient process, resulting in high-quality oleochemicals that meet stringent industry standards.
Our fat splitting process uses high temperatures and pressures to hydrolyze fats into fatty acids and glycerin. This step is essential for producing purified fatty acids and glycerin suitable for various applications.
CPM’s glycerin plants produce high-quality glycerin from various sources, including fat splitting, saponification, and transesterification, by removing most of the MONG and concentrating the glycerin to at least 80% purity.
