CPM is pleased to announce the successful commissioning of a new complete extrusion system at Shengmeng’s site in Hebei Province. The project was completed in late January—marking an important milestone for Shengmeng as it enters the pet food market with its first advanced extrusion solution.

CPM’s TwinTech Extruder is answering that demand and was the centerpiece for the Shengmeng extrusion system.
With sustainability at the heart of CPM’s solutions, the TwinTech uses less energy consumption than traditional twin screw extruders, delivering a ~5-10% efficiency improvement, meaning reduced operating cost and improved sustainability. Its reduced footprint enables higher power density for a more compact machine layout.
Much of this is credited to the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), which has 8-12% lower energy consumption, with 30% lower no-load current than asynchronous motors.
The PMSM is also 40-60% lighter than asynchronous motors and its water-cooled design lowers noise by 30%
