Process Troubleshooting for Twin-Screw Compounding Extruders

This webinar provides an overview of factors affecting compound product quality and process instabilities on intermeshing, co-rotating twin-screw extruders. The basis for all troubleshooting activities first requires some definition of “product quality” –a basic understanding (from the compounders’ point-of-view) of what these words mean to the customer. The webinar then proceeds to identify the most common compound quality problems and those variables responsible for causing such problems.
